About the artist

Ger Kenny was born in Limerick City in 1979 and now lives in the picturesque village of Montpelier, Co. Limerick.

Ger is a self taught artist and first started drawing at a early age progressing onto other mediums such as oils and acrylics.

The artists favourite medium is Oil, although he has done several works in acrylic, pastel and pencil.

His main focus is Irish scenes and landscape whilst hes also enjoys painting commissioned portraits .

My main aim when painting is to look at the subject matter, whether it is single object or a vast landscape,
and capture it as I see it, hopefully the viewer will see it this way.”
